Dear Make-up,
You covered my face like a delicate mask, you
taunted the wondering eye, and completed
every look, I loved you.
You gave me the confidence I needed and the
beauty I always wanted but not that I don't
have you, I'm kind of sad.
I'm happy because I not get to show who I
am without a mask, what I truly look like for
every second of the day. I'm happy because
when I do dress up it will be exciting and for
the only mad I will ever love besides the
Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam and my father. I'm happy because this
feels right. BUT....
I know that I don't get as many compliments
or as many perspective mother-in-laws glares.
I know that getting married isn't going to be
the easiest. I know that sometimes when I
look in the mirror, I might reflest on how
much better I would look if I had a dab of
blush, a little mascara, and tinted moisturizer.
BUT, I'm happy :)

In conclusion, the noble position of women in
Islam can be summarized by the following
saying of the Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam:
"The world and all things in the world are
precious, but the most precious thing in the
world is a virtuous woman."
-Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam-
